Sunflower Valley's "girls" graze in the pastures and snack on organically grown hay in the barn whenever they want. Using herbs, organic kelp and natural minerals are just a few of the ways the girls stay healthy. Soy, pesticides, herbicides and hormones are never used with the herd or around the ranch. Antibiotics are not used either with exception for life-saving treatment. If an antibiotic were ever needed the goat would be removed from the"milk-line".
Sunflower Valley came to fruition after 2 young children needed the RAW milk and their mother could not find a clean source. After the youngest was diagnosed with a cow dairy allergy it became clear this family was not alone in the search for all natural goat milk and cheese.
